WasteCo is looking for a reliable and experienced Class 2 Gantry Truck Driver to join our team. This is a hands-on role operating specialised gantry trucks across our commercial customer base.

About Us

WasteCo NZ Ltd offer a range of waste management services across the South Island including household and commercial waste collection, specialised medical and quarantine waste handling, industrial and utility services (portaloos, city sweeping, spill response, hydrovac, wastewater), and waste sorting both on site and at purpose-built facilities focusing on recycling and diverting materials from landfill.

About the Role

• Operating gantry truck for skip bin delivery and collection
• Servicing commercial and residential customers
• Daily vehicle checks and maintaining equipment
• Ensuring safe and efficient operations at all times
• Early starts with consistent hours

What We’re Looking For

• Full Class 2 licence (essential)
• Experience with gantry trucks (preferred but not essential – training provided)
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling
• Strong focus on health & safety
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Good customer service skills
